I think you are forgeting the major objectif of playing a video game = having fun. Not winning or any stats bs. See that is why the vast majority of quake players stays away from your retarded tdm mode pickup channel.

The first time i played it i was accused of using aimbot because i had over 47 MG and 45 LG. While everybody on CA server that are half decent knows i am average good and easy to outshaft etc.

But it's quake and retards like you are the majority in tdm. ie : not playing in public servers, baning people from pickup channels with stupid reasoning, taking it way way too seriously.

Actually tdm is far from a noob friendly game mode. Every time a new player comes to play some tdm they tend to complain about the lack of weapons. From a new player's point of view it's just 20 minutes of running with machine gun like a headless chicken. Whereas in other game modes you can just find a weapon respawn point and wait for a few seconds.

Public tdm died pretty much after the update that added map voting and other stuff. Playing on public servers was most of the time frustrating because there was always one guy that would leave before 5th minute mark and you had to wait for ages until someone joined. But blaming pickup channel for that is absurd.

As for the rest of the post, it's clear that you don't like Lam which is understandable because it's easy to get a wrong impression of him.

I don't understand half of what you just said there, but I never had any problems with the admins, not even when I was doing -40s, and everyone was flaming me for being too noob to pickups. Guess what. I got a lot of shit from players, but never the admins. Never a warn or anything. Because I always behaved.

It's not even about silence. I stood my own ground when it was needed. One time people refused to play Intervention when I got to pick the map, and it was in the main pool. I refused to ready when they voted another map. Admins stuck up for me. Another time I refused to ready when someone picked Deep Inside which was at that time optional, meaning could have only been played if all 8 players agree. Admins again sided me.

Now in Gandhi's case, he was right. But he acted like a jerk about it. If he kept his cool, everything would be fine. It's all about behaving in a civilized manner.
