Btw, I'm still working on a better ranking system, which is much better than the current one. Most of the job is finished, I still have some setups and details to finish in my spare time. Then, I'll just have to find an host, and it's done.

Badly, this ranking doesn't reveal real level but the ability to play often and to win at least some matches.

been almost half a year since I last played cpm duels so maybe people are playing some new maps too

tip: I'd focus on movement as a new player in CPM. It's amazingly fun and aim/brain doesn't matter in CPM if you can't move

in most sports you have to develop certain mechanical skills before understanding the strategy behind it

Of course. I was trying to say movement is way more important in CPM than in vql/vq3. In CPM it's like half of your game while in vql/vq3 it's maybe a tenth.

Well, this is what you think when you begin. But later, you will realize that movements are only basis, you will move without even notice.

At this moment, you will understand that most of the job has to be done; aim, map control, dodge, sound, game sense etc.

I don't know man. I mean look at me: I've got horrible aim and CPM is way too fast for me to be able to think straight while I play, but I can still destroy newbies purely because I move around the map 5 times faster than they do. That would never happen in QL. That's what I'm getting at.

They were pretty bad then, unless your ping makes you un-hitable.

Once you have a certain amount of experience you'll always be moving without thinking about it. That doesn't mean all experienced players are starting on an even keel.
