You have ~80k YouTube views on mostly clips of that right? :) The concept in and of itself doesn't turn me away at least, if a movie full of flickrails on aerowalk is good then a movie full of lightning gun tracking on thunderstruck should be fine. You show what you've got to show :)

Just actually put effort into making it a good movie, be careful with the length (easy to overstay your welcome when there's not too much variety etc; just include the very best and no filler, same as goes for every movie duh) and finally don't ruin it by falling to the temptation of calling it The #1 Movie In The World In The #1 Gamemode In The World On The #1 Map In The World By The #1 Player In The World which, meant ironically or not, is not funny and ruins the movie before people even see it. But you just said you're not gonna do those things anymore, right!?

TL;DR make it good, just put it out there, let people judge it on its own (bunch of people will hate by default but who gives a shit) and try not to be (former!?) He4rTL3sS™©® about it.

I know it's not only rails and don't mean to "call it out" on anything; I really like it and it's my go-to video for console/controllers vs. PC/kb&m arguments c;

Anyway, not saying a Thunderstruck 1v1 CA-only video would or wouldn't be as good, but I suppose that's subjective as most things and no reason not to give it a shot.

I've met a couple people like this. They act like idiots, having weakly given in to their instincts, and don't listen to anyone who suggests they should act more maturely for years... Only to be inspired to change it all in one moment. Because of one person seemingly, usually a girl... But in reality, only because of themselves - they decided to get inspired, and now are set to make it work.

Well shit dude, you know what this kind of inspiration means? It means that you weren't able to listen to sensible advice for years, and that this determination is most likely just another whim. Well, I have two types of sources.

Firstly, I've seen examples of this, and probably due to that my common sense tells me so. If a person tries really hard to be "motivated/enchanted" by people, events or objects, it's often because he can't be intrinsically motivated. In the end, he ends up inconsistent in the best scenario, or very rarely in a good standing (in terms of the subject of motivation) in the worst scenario. Intrinsic motivation is the best, right? His emotional stability and actions definitely seem to look like this case.

Secondly, from what I recall, science says that announcing things you're going to do gives some of the pleasure/reassurance that you would get from actually doing the thing, in the end making it less likely that you'll pull through. And that's after the fact that such announcements definitely point to the above case of searching for motivation, and finding it like you would find a pot of gold - so outside of yourself, not from within. I don't have the source though. I most likely read it on psychology today or some reddit link to a paper; if you want you can search for it.

Now, as for instincts, I don't mean to say that instincts themselves arethe problem. Just that personality disorders and such disrupt the balance in the brain and make a person more likely to follow his instincts blindly - instincts that most of us don't have that serious of a problem with.
