Thresh Vs Entropy

Not the best demo I've seen but certainly one of the most important. The final match of the Red Annihilation tournament where the prize was John Carmack's Ferrari.

this is not how i remember it...

Yet all the basics are there.

Also consider in Q1 at the time there wasn't bunny jumping (with A and D QW-like) and no strafe jumping either (W+D and W+A).

because russians ganged up and forced the vote. it became a popularity contest when there was a genuine intention to compare players on objective grounds.

well let's just say the intention was ruined in the comical way that all endeavors do on ESR. there were other playoffs between players in the greatest gamer series. it'd be good to have it done again actually.

what i meant was, as far as i remember carmack said he's gonna play the WINNER of the LAN, and put his ferrari on the line, i don't remember his ferrari being the main prize for the LAN...
