Neither is it a reason to accept violence that is happening.

Now think about Nazis, Nazism and nazi-songs in an analogous way. It's fine to show them in fictional work and it's okay to talk/report about them (in a sufficiently objective manner). But that does not make real Nazism acceptable. Neither should we accept others displaying Nazism. If somebody posts a nazi-song and you have no problem with that, then you have either a) no idea or b) you give credibility to an ideology that includes ethnic hate and tends to seek the execution of "ethnic cleansing".

And no, don't start with "freedom of speech", because ethnic hatred is not protected by it.

A week ago is not exactly the past. When I was at your age and getting into Quake I knew it was gonna be hard due to people probably not giving me a lot of respect.
What I tried to do is compose myself and think about what I say before I say it. Try to let time grow over it and think about your position in this community and eventually about treating people wih respect because that is the only way people are gonna respect you.
It may sound weird but I think my time in Quake has played a big role in my personal development in terms of communicating with other people because I had to think about not getting myself the image of an imature kid who talks much but knows little which is kind of what you are working towards. No bad feelings, just hope it helps
