It doesn't matter. You would be incredibly unlucky to get any sensor other than the decent one. The "bad" sensor is quite far removed from circulation.

tl;dr: You're wmo is fine.

The problem with this plain MWO mice, it doesn't allow clocking. I could only underclock it to 62hz or 32hz or I'm doing something wrong.

I used that website exactly the one you posted. I could only underclock it, it doesn't go over 125hz for me. I don't know why.

These options (62hz or 32hz, etc) are listed in Setup.exe when you're trying to set the polling rate?

yeah those are the options under 125hz and the next three are 250, 500, and 1000. I can never get any higher than 125 hz on this wmo. I'm using windows 7 64 bits.

Are they greyed out? (250, 500, 1000) Have you tried using 500 (assuming it's not grey) and then testing it with DIMR or another similar program?

You most def didn't follow the instructions. There's a guide on youtube, follow that.

They aren't greyed out. I tried every value on the dropdown list, 250, 500, 1000 then I restart my pc and boot it up with no changes.

How are you confirming there are no changes?

Select the value u want... 1000, 500, 250... restart ur computer. While starting up keep pressing f9 until a bunch of options appear, select ''Disable Driver Signature Enforcement''.. It worked for me, though u'll have to do it every time u start up ur computer..

do you have a black wmo non 1.1 version? Ok, I took your clue and went on and googled it, turns out that I can't do this on UEFI bios for asus motherboard. Looks risky. I'd have to disable "secure boot" but that doesn't seem logical to me.

i have tried deactivating the test mode and then reclocking it and also leaving it on then reclockign it, it still does not work either way. the mouse overclocks when i turn off signature enforcement, I experienced 1000hz on my laptop but I don't on my rig. I know the drivers are working since it would adjust to 32hz to 62hz under 125hz default. It's very strange. At least I know my mouse is clockable.

if you are using the same program as I did, you would enable test mode, then disable signature enforcement. then, without restarting, you install the driver and then sign the files (i.e. c:\windows\system32\drivers\hidusbf.sys) + the 64 bit path as well if necessary

after that u should just have to restart and it works. I may have left out some part but it's been 9+ months since I've had to do it.

Disable signature enfrocenement after enabling test mode? The problem doesn't have that step and disabling signature enforcement requires me to go into bios which I don't have since my motherboard is UIEFI that doesn't have it.

Anything under 125hz has legacy support in windows. Anything higher needs a signed driver (.inf/sys file).

I recommend you to download 'Driver Signature Enforcement Override' program and load up a custom hidusbf file. This will allow you to keep using 500hz even after rebooting because the driver file will be present in the system32 folder.

That's the problem. I have been using driver signature overide program and it's not working.

the program only lets me underclock my mouse and not overclock it. For any value below 125hz it would work but any value over 125hz, it doesn't.

i set mine to 500hz and mouse rates reads it up to 700+ hz :/
