This doesn't prove anything. It could also be a timetable of bus departures and arrivals. Unless we get a confession or a punkbuster positive it is still not decisive proof.
Also an admin might have put that paper there to get him banned and if you want this to mean anything you need not only picture of 108's computer but all other players photographic picture of their screens because it might not be the screen of 108.
let us all see proof of that? 108 many times attended lans and did well sometinhg you did not!!! also 108 plays with picmip 3 and uses windows xp, clearly not as in the picture!!
I did a 'better' version for this years ago , was just toying around with ideas to improve timing. just found it at the back of the wardrobe! Math was easy, but timing 3 /armours aswell, while being under pressure, was looking for a better way. The harder the opponent, the harder the math gets.
Tried it for one game and found it more distracting.
.
I could do an updated version now, you just shout out the number and it would print the time on your phone or screen.
Not convinced this is cheating, for quake to get bigger, I think it needs timings to be displayed like in the casters screens, it would retard the game slightly, but it would really help newer players last longer and should not change things at the highest level too much as they know how to time anyway (for the most part)
When you collect or see the following being collected (Yellow/Red/Mega)
You just say Y 0-59 (25 secs)
You just say R 0-59 (25 secs)
You just say M 0-59 (35 secs)
Then it adds 25/35 seconds and prints out the collection time.
Say you get (or see it collected) YA at 1:56.
Just say Y 56 (it assumes you don't need to keep track of minutes)
Its prints Y 21 and so on.
So its basically like the version of above but entirely voice activated.
When i tried it Using my board) I found taking the eyes off the screen and looking for numbers was actually counter productive, its why I never ended up using it.
You could even extend it and link it up to the game, setup a profile sound for the MH and ARMOUR, so when it hears it, it starts automatically.
That might even pick up sounds you miss.
Could also be extended to Health sounds too.
I don't think its good to do though, I would prefer idsofware made timings easy to see to make the game more accessible.
It could even be vote based. With incentives to those who choose the non noob version.
Raspebberry pi, whatever, there are TONS of devkits that can do this sort of stuff if you dig around. Most of the code is already written too.
Its not hard to to get a computer to add 25/35 seconds based on any two digit number it hears.
Will try and get a demo going sometime. TO me that's a little too close to cheating though and the method the guy used is IMO effective and not as taboo as third party devices.
what if we took that a step further so that rather than listening for your voice to say Y-0-59, it just listens for the pickup sound, checks your map position to know which item it was, and updates an onscreen timer to show you when that item will next be up.
I am pretty convinced this would be cheating. It doesn't inject code into ql or anything like that but it is still 3rd party software that gives you an unfair advantage.
“Not convinced this is cheating, for quake to get bigger, I think it needs timings to be displayed like in the casters screens, it would retard the game slightly, but it would really help newer players last longer and should not change things at the highest level too much as they know how to time anyway”
You are not convinced that using a third party software that does the timing calculations for you would be considered cheating? Haha! Now I'm even more convinced that steam did the right thing when they perma banned you from vac due to your awful cheating. I also understand now why you harp on Zhu so much. Its your own guilty mind trying to cleanse itself. Ohh Jamie, you must have such a trouble mind, do you still sleep okay at night?
Also new players don't need the spawn times displayed on their screen ‘to last longer'. They can simply play against people of their own skill level and progressively become better in battle and timing skills. Just like it's always been and it worked. Especially nowadays with elo ranking and match making this has become easier.
And, honestly, using a pad and pencil would just be hilarious.
I can just see it, now:
Evil is vs. rapha in DHW Grand Finals. the series score is 2-2 in Bo5.
map score is 7-6 but then rapha nails a face rocket, making it 7-7 map score.
Evil fucking rages, absolutely losing his mind on center grand stage in front of hundreds of people.
Evil respawns at at RA. Picks up RA.
Realizes he's so raged that he can not currently compute 32 + 25 for next RA...
***MATCH PAUSED***
evil whips out pad and pencil.
Adds 32 + 25 manually.
***MATCH RESUMES IN 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. FIGHT***
Evil wins DHW thanks to pad and pencil.

I don't know, I know that I'm just being silly but I am having my very best day so far this whole year so I thought I would type something silly and fun .:D
Lastly, Jamerio, you have done something no one else has ever done: Found an actual use for SIRI! :D
i think the struggle for many is recalling the item spawn times they have formulated, or actually remembering to time the items in the first place. doing the simple arithmetic, or recalling the matching spawn time for whatever pickup time one gets is the simple part, imo.
