I saw that this is a good place for girls (like me, hehe) to ask about academic topics. Can somebody suggest somewhere that I can learn about the properties of soil mechanics? I've heard that slump and the modulus of elasticity are really important, but every time I try to talk to an engineer, all they want to do is look at my feet and smell like onions?

Anyway, I took some classes about geography before, but I'd really like to learn more about earth. I just hope you guys can get past the fact that I'm a girl, and please don't question my desire to learn about soil mechanics, just tell me what I want. Because boobs, lol!
