no that would be rapha. defensive, and more of technical fighter. not exactly known for knockout power (= aim), but smart and a few steps ahead. can never bet against him.
cypher would be pacquiao, exciting to watch and has knockout power (ie aim. aggressive play) and can be aggressive for his own good, sometimes he throws defense out the window and gets KO'd (ie evil on the 5th map ragequit). but cypher seems to have figured out evil, is more patient against evil so thats irrelevant
Cypher is the most like Roy Jones Jr. Roy Jones Jr. Roy Jones was a unorthodox boxer who is like the polar opposite of someone like Bernard Hopkins, who is pure textbook. However at his prime Roy Jones had such high level of combat skills combined with crazy reactions that he would toy with his opponents and do things other could only think of, pure raw skill.
Cypher plays the same way, instead of focusing on pure textbook safe play that covers your imperfections and makes its the easiest for you (rapha), he instead just relies on the fact that he has much better combat skills aim and positional and abuses his opponent.
The fact of the matter is orthodox play is there because its the most logical way to do things, taking less effort and giving better results. But like in any sport and games there are things you can do that are almost impossible to pull off, but if you can manage they are the best.
Such moves can only be hit with players with the highest raw skill. When they are feeling the game to that level, they will turn their opponents into punching bags.
That is why condom players like Cooller and Rapha will never have the most impressive play. They both maxed out their orthodox play but neither of them has the talent to pull off the top top moves. So they rely on their safe tactics, and as long as they don't face some prodigy who is feeling himself they will win.
But when Cypher is on the top shape, he will turn both of them into punching bags, and they will not be able to do anything about it.
