Ut3 in ps3 Isn't Worth mentioning. The pad is more accurate than a mouse, with the delay.

If these new consoles start allowing me to play FPS on keyboard and mouse I'll buy one, if they don't well no matter how good the FPS game is, its always going to be crap for me.

Its only NOT CRAP if you've not played keyboard and mouse.

I don't think its too much ask that in 2013, consoles actually make widespread use of the best play expereince for that genre.

Everyone on the car forums I know has a PS3 wheel for GT5, some of them even have custom built chairs.

But on console you can't change settings like FOV, mouse smoothing, etc.

I just started playing fps games on the playstation an at first i hated it because aiming with the controller is shit. But after a while it goes better and now i like it. Its fun to learn a new way.

Keyboard vs controller is not fair if you dont like it stick with the pc.
And if they allow keyboard on the console they should make seperate servers.
And there are mouse look a like controllers for consoles.

agree on this but we are definitely the minority. the only fps games on a console I can think of worth a damn are goldeneye, it's successor ;) and metroid prime. all employed a unique aiming system compared to analog trying to emulate a mouse.

i just read an article that said sony lost almost 9bilion selling electronics... maybe this will be the last play station

cos they designed it right and only has 12 or so parts, for the production line to ribbon together

only gonna buy it one day if there is game available that really catches me ... won't buy because of assassins creed 3, killzone 4 or call of duty 9 ... people buying now just buy it for the pleasure of owning it ...
