Sure, they're everywhere but overall it's incredibly better than e.g ET community where I came from, prolly a lot better than CS/SC/LOL/etc aswell. Can't imagine a game community being any better than this tbh :d
Same here... and I mean like really disgusted. I've stopped many other games wich technically were even better than quake as for my special situation (I mean I can't get perfect net connection, too much time etc. atm) but the communities threw me off so much I had to quit from ever single game beside quake. :D
Know what you're saying. I've played a bit of hearthstone when I must play on laptop/bad net and it's designed so that a horrible community in-game is impossible. At the cost of free communication ofc, but if that is what the designers needs to do in order to make the game enjoyable, its worth it imo.
I disagree. Average age is kinda high in ET aswell yet it's such an awful community and even more so now that the people there has matured. Age plays a role but it's not just because of that. Being big means it's popular which means average people likes it. Gaming community consisting of average people equals a mainstream community like LoL and other popular games have. Surely QL could go bigger and still be quality but if it was as big as CS/SC/LOL it would take a big turn for the worse, communitywise.
