I don't know why, but at first I readed that as batman vs spiderman debate, so now I would put it this way:

- spiderman is an alien, and he gotten some of the roof traits, while Bruce Wayne had worked all the way through to establish his kingdom, he's still better

also Wayne's house still looks better than fortress of solitude, what's even more important Bruce can actually live there, and Clark Kent is a drudge counting on getting a stupid cunt that would feel attracted to loosers

and you can't deny the fact that only good Superman movies was just first trilogy, and yeah, it's better than earliest attempts on making a batman movies, but for now Batman series are way more superior

As it is, Superman risks next to nothing. Batman risks his life. And, Batman actually has to work to find his enemies through being a master detective; not just flying really fast and looking through walls or waiting until the Justice League satellite tells him where to throw something next.

Yes, Superman is the original. Yes, all of his story arcs and acts have a long and decent back story. But, at the end of the day, it's an invincible gravity defying alien who swats mere mortal human flies because he can't think of anything better to do with all of his divine power.

Superman is a bit stale. There is nothing really special about him. He becomes indestructible with yellow sunlight because he is Kryptonian with unwavering morality. Not a well-contrived bad ass, though a complete bad ass nonetheless, which is the draw. You stay interested just to see if he has limits or what absurd power or feat he accomplishes next.

Batman has a lot more interesting villains and stories, however I have a new appreciation of superman from reading All Star Superman, which I think was excellently written and made Superman extremely interesting.

I've come to the conclusion that Superman can be an interesting character, but I think that his power and methos does a lot of harm when it comes to writing for him.

I'm very disappointed with a new batman pick. Christian Bale didnt signed contract with Warner Bros Pictures. We will see Ben Affleck as a batman now. As a wonder women we will see Gal Gadot. She is from Fast and Furious (Gisele) Ye, sad but true. I was hoping for Kate Beckinsale - she played in Underworld series.
