he's been the best belgium dueler since 2005, 2006 maybe until he went inactive.

Impulse is the guy that showed me the path to beeing better in duel.

He got me into LowLandLions back in 2009 and from then on I started beeing sponsored to go to lans and received some high quality gear such as sennheiser headsets, mousepad, etc.

He also went to several ql duel lans and more recently I went to the eindhoven CTF lan with impulse, vertex and spart1e ;)

and yet he failed to teach you propper weaponswitch...

Shame he can't seem to play on the same level in QL.

I forgot about those guys, what happened to them? Weren't they dominating for a while? I'm a long-time quake spectator but I can't remember everything it seems!

i think they quit in transition between Q3 and QL, also they never dominated. both reached the top russian tier at the very end of cpma vq3 era, but failed to dethrone old school kings. iirc nike won some online cup and then got raped on lan, which made him rage quit into retirement strenx style. and out of the LaMz guys que?tion aka maloy was the better than k1llmaster. i only remember them being aerowalk masters.

would like to know what happened to zilich too. rather unknown player started to beat top duelers like jibo and such, but never switched to QL

Well killmaster still plays QL under the account name of 060718, nike also has an account on QL (volgonike) and zilich aka 3ulu4 who has insane aim didn't like QL and played or still plays CPM after the russian community made the transition. maloy was aka ?uestion or w.e was a beast on pt4 and probably the best russian aerowalk player, he once beat ash on aerowalk like 86-2. Dunno whether he still plays or not.

Nike went to gamegun 2008, he didn't get crushed but deffiently under preformed considering he beat cooller and won asus spring 2007 less then a year earlier at the age of 14. He had the worst aim to skill ratio among the top players which made him much more awesome.

I started playing quake during 2008-09 when cpma/vq3 was the mode, xerp +forward and good times.

ppl can rage about cpma/vq3 all the way they want, at least it was fun to play. And ql in its current stage is more LG heavy then xerp ever was.

I can see k1llmaster in your Aeroplay. An accident that Aero is your best map or you really like to play it? Or both?

Aero is like the CA of duel maps and all i play is duel, just played it so many times. I don't think it's the best quake has to offer but if you just wanna shot some rockets and rails and not think too much its perfect for me, it's where i feel at home.

I'm not in same league as killmaster is but thx for the kind words. I didn't watch a lot of his QL demos, only from his cpma/vq3 days (a lot) which plays very differently from QL, I also think cpma/vq3 suited his aggressive style more, so who knows, still taking it as a compliment, cheers.

Invite strenx on stream and ask him to beatbox while fraze casts the game = best quake rap.

visited RU and BY 2 times in 2 months , BY looks more like EU country then RU for sure.

depends on what you think is a "eu country".. ive been multiple times there and while Minsk is quite clean and advanced (because the führer puts a lot of effort into impressing visitors) its also very austere, soulless and uncomfortable (to me). smaller cities like Brest felt much more natural to me. Villages and the likes were extremly poor.

i felt a lot closer to eu while beeing in ru and especially in ukr. by is totally alien to me (and ironically ive been there more often than the other 2)
