'steam machines' are such a load of shit!
its nice that they are coming in smaller cases but you are paying a premium for the privilege. people talking as if they are console killers, granted they are coming with some nice specs but have you seen the prices of these things!

on an unrelated note im much more interested in razers modular PC, probably going to be ridiculously priced and not out for a while but fuck that thing looks cool!

i don't have any expectations from the Razer product, but i hope that type of modular design will make an impact in the future

also, i'm more excited about SteamOS and the Steam controller, than Steam machines themselves.

small form factor PCs existed before, "Steam machine" is just a marketing shtick.

Oh yeah that's what I mean and exactly why valve haven't gone into that market themselves. Steam OS I'm not that interested in however I want a steam controller as soon as I can get my mitts on one! By the sounds of it won't just be valve making them, but valve just with the initial idea.

You can have your own Linux Distribution with the steam client, so i don't need the thin clients then ...
