Didn't Cooller only lose in the QuakeCon 2004 semifinal and then CPL World Finals 2006? I think he won every game they have had since then, and of course the famous ESWC 2005 final.
do keep in mind czm was gone for a very very long time as a competitive player. arguably a lot longer than cooller has ever disappeared for. also keep in mind that PhD takes anywhere from 4-6 yrs to complete on top of a BA degree xD. JUSTSAYIN.
czm said long ago that he felt his best shape in QL was around may of 2011 (close to quakecon), same time when he upset (if u can even say that rofl) spartie, dahang, and nearly beating rapha and cooller.
Oh, yeah, I know that. Plus he didn't play Quake 4 either, so I guess he was gone from the competitive scene for, what, 3-4 years? Or did he return in 2008 when Quake 3 was picked up again? I don't remember Cooller playing in that period.
Anyway, I don't think they have met too many times actually, but I also doubt this topic was very serious to begin with, seeing who the author is.
Well he did play against cooller in 2005 in the ESWC finals and lost. He also played in the 2006 CPL, i am not sure if they ever met each other but CZM won while cooller placed 3rd.
It's a really long story but i started following Quake in early 2000-ish but i didn't have any internet so i had to go to my neighbor to watch games or demos of pros playing. Then there is the long story part why i quit quake but i started watching in 2011 again.
