Nice initiative, but maybe you should first look at how are cpm cups right now.
First, the map pool is obsolete, cpm1a is rarely played, cpm15 disliked by the most.
You should introduce pukka3tourney2 at least. And maybe hektik or eizdm4-b15.

Single elimination is not that fun (but faster, that's sure). It depends on what kind of cup you want.
Single elim is fine to quickly get rid of this damn shitty cup and to forget it quickly as well.
Double elim is a bit long (too loog mb), but gives more chances to players and help to make the cup a bit more memorable.

And ffs, why 1 am ? Considering a 16 slot cup should take 2 to 3 hours, 1 to 4 am ? That's ridiculous. Russians will hardly be able to play, Central Europe ppl, barely (bit late to focus on a game). And US guys, I don't know, it should be around dinner. You need to choose a region and not to try to arrange them all.

Ah, and is it on the 4th or on the 5th ? There is a contradiction between the announce and the post text.

It looks that way because I'm using timetags which convert to your local timezone set in the profile.

For example, writting 7pm EST [shorttime=7pm EST] results in 19:00 CDT.

Wrote both times/dates to prevent confusion :)

Ahh, forgot that lazy time conversion. I don't know if there is one that include the complete date to avoid that kind of errors.

What about the others remarks I did (with the only purpose to help you to improve the cup)?

Mappool is fine, standart cpm maps, no vq3 failed ripoffs like pukka ,hektik & shit.And cup time should be atleast +3h, i think.

I've played a few US quick cups and I will play more because the time spans suit me far better than those of the EU cups.

Bit unfortunate for this one though, I had to leave in a hurry.
