Normally there is the minimap, but dreadful places doesnt have a minimap included. Thats why its empty.

Xonotic is nice, but has serious issues with pubs - I mean instagib only is played there :|

How is xonotic's netcode compared to ql? I not looking for answers like "it sucks!". I want a good explaination.

from my experience i could say that xonotic netcode is mush smoother and optimised. you can feel yourself fine even on 100-120 ping. there is another problem - too much different guns and firemods, which you have to get used to.

It's superior to QL definitely. It's possible to enjoy games played in overseas servers. Even 200 ping is somewhat tolerable, by then you will probably notice some delay in projectiles, but the lag compensation makes it possible to play. Hitscan weapons are well protected from ping, so if you play Instagib, ping is irrelevant pretty much. I have never encountered problems with hitbox detection or stuff like that unlike in QL/WSW.
