Evil spawned and ran into the lg room, cypher only had 5 rockets and was at about 100/50? -> it was absolutely hopeless to chase and upper ya wasnt up for him to restack.

Now a bit of psychology comes into play. There were still 15-20secs until the end of the game so evil might be getting worried that cypher is restacking (what else is he gonna do if he isnt rushing lg room?) and will be running in at the last seconds. So it was plausible for evil to wait ~10 secs in the lg room and then try to move out of the room to get out of the way of cyphers final push. Had evil thought that way he almost certainly would have gone to ra/ra tele where cypher would have been waiting.

Of course the lg room is very easy to defend with an lg against an non-stacked opponent so evil just stayed in the room, but it was a good try by cypher never the less. May have worked against someone else.

Perhaps cypher just mistimed ra but there wasnt much he could do either way.

Edit: Pretty much what ddk and stermy said right after the game.....

crossfire was much better to talk about ingame situations

I wouldn't be suprised if cypher misread the actual score or time remaining. Wouldn't be the first time it happened to him in a tournament game.
