another method which i haven't tried tho, would be to suck up as much solder as possible with the regular desolder pump, and apply some solder which has a lower melting point than the original "lead free"-solder, and try to suck it up again.

i would prefer the desolder iron tho, which should work unless u try to get a switch out of a steelseries mouse, where the pinholes are very very tiny.

Just buy a new switch

instead of a desolder pump you can try to strip a wire and let the strands suck the liquid solder up.
could take some striped cable-ends but works!

Right, desoldering braid needed a really high temperature to start absorbing the solder, so high that it started melting the metals inside the switch :<

If the holes weren't that small, i think either braid or the pump would work
