I fucking hate the idea of steaming shit running in the background.

I don't know if you know what nosteam means, but in case you didn't know it's the cracked version of steamworks games, well of course there are servers, but they are not "ranked" or the legit. Tbh Steam and its overlay are not that bad, I remember years ago when we were benchmarking games on our uni laptop (bye bye mom and dad and also big gaming desktop) we tested which overlay (Xfire/steam/TS/Mumble/etc) was actually causing lower frame rate. Steam was not one of them :D.

I used to have framerate issues in CS:Source with the steam library left open in background while playing but that's long gone.

I enjoyed cs 1.6 very much but csgo is just bleeehh..

tried to get into GO too, just didn't feel right after a while. the game is dull and washed out, not vivid at all like 1.6 or source. ended up just playing source or 1.6 for some cs, no point playing something you don't like

CSGO bots are dumb as fuck.

for me CSGO is wooden as hell. Still good to play sometimes 5vs5 matchmaking.

just join a casual game and play with real ppl ffs it is already full of noobs, thats the whole point!!!
after a while play matchmaking... the build in matching system its good. And if you really enjoy competing you probably want to try Faceit or E**A :+]

the server i usually play on has a bunch of very skilled guys, which makes it quite of a challenge, i like it :)
