I'll go with 3, but can't see much difference between 1 and 3.

Just remember that the choice of either of these cfgs doesn't decide the quality of your next movie.

Stop making ql movie and do something productive like krokodil.

all of them are way too blurry

Every config without blur and high contrast is ok.

at least have + crosshair, and remove blur and go higher framerate. also, just skip all the special effect all together imo, make it look quake.
edit: and dont go fov crazy, and dont go hardcore music, and not epic music. and not some obscure special thing only you would like.

Best movie recently was that one with picmip 10 and high framerate and some Swedish sounding lovely woman-voice-music. Fucking classy.
Either that or the latest afterspray thing, where each separate clip was captured in each players respective cfg. Genius.

Which movie is that? With picmip 10? Last movie I liked that wasn't about editing but just frags with high picmip was Twister's movie.

There are many quake videos coming out that are not worthy of watching. If you are asking on esr what cfg to use, you don't have a solid idea of what you like or want out of the film. It doesn't bode well for the watcher. But if you have fun with the process and are learning, that's great. And that's how all the greats began.
