The elusive "ASUS" GD245HQ
(No comments)
I'm really loving what Asus did with the stand, it's a "3d" stand which means it moves around like a fucking snake on acid. Or some shit.
Anyway, I was inspecting the Acer back shell and it looked like it could fit... so I grabbed my tools and went to work.
This was the first monster I created.
The stand couldn't hold the weight up and it kept falling down, so naturally I stripped the original acer stand which made it better. But still not quite there.
I've accidentally deleted the image, but in order to make this work you need to open the GD245HQ and strip it from all the "inesential" parts, just think weight reduction plan and remove piece by piece.
Anyway probably not a major breakthrough for humanity, but I haven't been dealing with stands so this was new for me.
