Anyone else playing this game?

I just got it and played for ~1hr and holy fuck is this game hard.

So, opinions of this game form those who have played it?

It's pretty fun but the learning curve reminds me of when I was a just a little quake nooblet trying to learn how to strafe jump.

Alright, this is something I need to try. It looks relatively easy, but having played just anything where you have to fly, I know it really isn't.

What I meant by that was that the video shows some pretty good physics and good control over the plane, but I know it won't be :D

Its been on my radar for a while.. waiting for a sale though, been ripped off way too many times on new shit to drop $25!

I want to know if their is any activity in NA and if it has any unlock/RPG and/or pay 2 win microtransactions first also.

Perhaps some people who own the game can shed some light on these things here?? =)

All weapons and 'perks' are unlocked from the start, all unlocks are cosmetic and there is no in-game shop or pay to win bullshit.

My only complaint for the browser is the ping shows a little higher than it is when you are in-game. Other than that its fine.

There's no friend list or party system in-game and you can't invite/join via steam so you have to simply join the same server manually.

They say they will be adding content/fixes to the game soon/regularly, so we might see something like that in the future.

This is one of my issues as well. changing between jet mode (fast) and harrier mode (slow) changes your FoV and sens slightly. It takes some getting used to.

Also you have to disable mouse accel and framerate cap via the .ini files.

(mouse smoothing located in UDKinput.ini, framerate cap located in UDKengine.ini)

It's not massively popular, but you can always find a server at prime times.

Possibly. Still a brilliant game though.

All it needs is a steam sale or two to kick it off. it's had basically zero publicity, after all.
