How late? Once the clock strikes 19:00 CST, we will drop any participants who have not checked in and begin round 1 games.

That being said, if these three conditions are met it is possible that you'd still be able to play.
-No one is on the wait list to fill your spot
-You arrive before all round 1 matches have completed
-Your opponent is agreeable to the situation

This week was host to a slew of problems, most of which were stemmed by the fact that many participants were not using IRC, and were generally being lazy about checking-in. To try and combat this, it will be made clear in the future that check-ins are to be done via IRC only. There are a few very nice, free IRC clients out there (HexChat, KVIrc), or you can just use WebChat via your browser and join channel #siu after selecting your username. Either way, IRC access and presence will be mandatory in the future. We will also be moving the check-in time from 19:30 CDT to 19:50 CDTin order to cut back on participants going AFK between check-in and the event start.
