Edit: thought I best add, I don't want this to sound negative etc, any league is a good thing but I really think the map pool needs expanding!

I'm really glad to see HoQ is back and I was really hoping to get into TDM again in the next few months but I'm really not keen on that mappool at all :(

The lack of dm20 leaves a bad taste too :/ its the most exciting map to watch and play imo.

That's what the map pool should be. 7 maps but with dm6 instead of dm7 cause dm7 sucks in QL.

Yeah it didn't play well in umm was it HoQ or the champions league thing? Anyway it felt wrong where as DM6 actually played quite good!

Any updates coming for it, or is it a lost cause?

i dont like the idea of forcing it on people when it simply wasnt accepted.. im not sure people really gave it a fair chance as the gameplay was intentionally different, but that's history now.

but yeah we're planning to update it, cut about 40% of the map, opening up a lot of stuff so its not so cramped and removing a lot of the camp corners so basicly it should be a completely new map afterwards.

also we're finishing up 2 new tdm maps pretty soonish, should be in QL in time for prague #2 etc

Tornado & dm20 are both capable for great comeback games, which is good for both spectators and players.

Dreadful Place is a map with unique and interesting style and you want to replace that with shit like Deep Inside?

The difference is, that I don't really like Dreadful Place (at least in TDM) while I like OSPDM5. :> It also adds a nostalgic feeling to the game.

I don't remember you playing in the last season of CB or the summer cup that was all "nostalgic"...

(But maybe that's because there are no low level teams anymore, after a year of doz3r's nostalgia...)

I didn't. (But this is not my ingame nick.) Now we are trying to recruit a div3-div4 team and mixes with URAZ, Karby, runny and guys like that - and organizing practice-sessions. Would be nice to play in the next season (which is not CB anymore sadly).

just go with the original pool you announced or switch osp5/dm20. tdm isnt in a state right now where you can just put up a 'controversial' map pool and cause drama. just something that's widely accepted and everybody will be happy since we havent had a league in a while. there's no need to push tornado, ac etc. right now

as you can see, the people commenting here arent even planning on playing lol

Does that mean:

- normal picking applies, but winner is the team with most frags in the tie breaker, not most points

- most frags in the previous maps decide who wins tie breaker (without the need to play it)

- player with most frags decides the tie breaker

- team with most frags decides the tie breaker

- team with most frags decides who drops map

- whatever else?


Besides, we're still waiting for league format. You know, stuff like group/tier division, match day/scheduling, wildcards, playoffs, player transfers, all that structure.
