That guy has been working on promoting QL since forever, really good guy doing a great job on holysh1t.

Yay, the great Dominsnation Tournament of 2014!

DOM doesn't get the appreciation it needs, it worked on a competitive level in UT but needs a different ruleset and some polishing in QL.
Something needs to be done about HP regen and running out of ammo.

DOM needs its own maps, with 5 capture points, not 3.

Though that would be kinda crappy for spectators. Hard enough to see all the good action with 3 different points of interest, as it is. =(

I don't recall who it was I replied to recently, but, just give a big outdoor map with the points in an equilateral triangle shape and have points be 2x max LG distance apart!

Or maybe with 4 points with same setup + one in the middle! Maybe some random lava spots in the middle and outer edges with squiggly pathways, in between.

Would make controlling the middle one interesting, if nothing else. :P I do wish Domination was more played, though! I like it better than CA, in some ways. Particularly the 'I don't have to watch morons fail and/or hide in corners while waiting for the next round' part.

If prize pool is big enough then the same big names will sign up and win.

I just wanted to write an apology to all those who are used to our regular and seamless broadcasts of QuakeLive every Sunday. We had League on our main channel as you know, but we took measures to try and ensure a good quality stream for our community channel, which last time we failed to provide. I was lucky enough to, through nvc, find infern0, who I believe to be more than capable in terms of production skills, to run the stream we wanted and the community deserved. We tested for a couple hours on Saturday and we tested before the stream and were without issues.

The first hiccup with my webcam was fine and I was able to fix it during the break, but after that we obviously experienced greater issues with the twitch servers as infern0 has mentioned in the thread. Luckily Ash is awesome and allowed us to cover the games whilst we searched for a more suitable solution, which nvc happily provided. Then thankfully, whilst we were casting, infern0 was able to set nvc up with some FACEIT assets so we could move the stream closer to the expected quality. But then Cypher received a call, that his power was going out for 2hrs, denying us a Grand Final.

I understand that all the issues together turned into quite the mess and for that I'm sorry!

Thanks everyone for their patience and understanding, I hope you can forgive us!

I think people are worried that the main stream will (gradually) be permanently removed from quake in favor of league. Anyway, good job with the cast despite the issues and cool to have ash talk some english.

If not for that, we could've never heard ash on faceit official coverage. guys, y don't u allow ash to stream your stuff - a 100 or so actual viewers of his streams (russian guys) won't drag any viewercount from your channel, on the other hand - u know how awesome Ash is, and his coverage of anything related to Quake (along with epic Agent's brutal sincere comments) is very important for USSR quakers.

Time passes, who knows how much Quake do we have left - Ash&Agent r like new messiahs in terms of best quake entertainment the world can give. 2gd&Joe had similar power of bringing joy and laughs with solid portion of deep analysis into any stream they processed, but hey - where r they now.

And most of all - Ash's style is totally RussianHaroshSukaBlyatDavayPizdosh in the whole YEVROP.

You guys might want to consider renaming that barely tested, prone-to-fail fallback setup from "faceitcommunity" to something more appropriate. Also in view of how a particularly dedicated community member - thankfully - helped you out of the mess.
