It's not HC. What I like about it is that the map is huge and you are prolly free to go anywhere. You can hop in a car and fuck around.

Also, the map editor is a pure work of art and even more simple than a Warcraft 3 editor. You just basically put down items, building, shaping terrain geometry very easily and you can play in the editor to test it. Pretty fun on LAN.

CoD 4: It's the best from CoD-series, rest is shit. Single player is lol, but a multiplayer with decent people can be fun, especially promod. There's *.cfg, circle strafe, airstrafe, wallhug, overbounce, edge slide, so you can frisk around quake-style owning noobs with 6 m strafes. : D

I never beat the game... I made it to the Cyberdemon and ran around the circle for 30 minutes because couldn't beat it with rockets, so I quit.

The original Doom was way scarier (prob cause I was a kid), but walking into a room and stumbling into 20 Hell's Knights is traumatic for a 5 year old.
