Hi, I manufacture snowboards.

Hi. got any swallow/fish tail board?

Not for sale at the moment. Usually when things get slow in between seasonal changes (which you just missed) we can do some one-offs. There's only 5-6 of us producing roughly 40 boards a day, so when we need to shift gears for something like that, we grind to a halt.

where do you work? im a snowboarder but a ski tech in nelson, bc.
looking at replacing my old lib tech dark series which ive had about 400 days on now, its totally flexed out but i love it so much so im struggling to find a good replacement. what ya got for me in a similar style?

also its awesome to find someone whos in the snow industry here :)

Some of the guys at the Lib Tech factory are like distant family to me.

The rocker we do is not like the Banana. We have flat between the feet with rocker on the tip/tail. Our C5 and C6 places the extra contact points at the feet where our rocker starts, instead of equidistant like Magnetraction.

We're the super small guy slaving along at the moment, but every year we seem to double in size. If you order a board, don't expect it right away, but it will be quality.

I love the topsheet graphics, do you make any directional boards with the so called S-rocker, perhaps on a splitboard? Also do you have the specs for your board lineup, like sidecut radius, waist witdth etc?

Would it be possible fo you to make a custom board?? I'd gladly throw some money at you if this was the case!

Lastly, good for you living in/near jackson hole man!

There's our specs.

The C5 is directional. Slightly longer nose than tail. We have sell split-boards.
As I said before, custom stuff and one-offs really only get done when things get slow in between seasons. You've got to wait until MAYBE July/August, I don't know if we will slow down this year. Every year we seem to double in size as a company.


If you order a board from the site we can usually squeeze stuff into the schedule. It doesn't really matter how much extra money you toss us. There's a very small number of us with a limit set of tools. In order to shift gears like that for one board it costs us a few thousand in production time.

haha the topsheets for next year's line look a lot better. maybe i'll look into ordering something, the cs6 looks good. how did you get into board making?

My dad was on the early frontier of skating/snowboarding, and making boards is what he wanted to do.
He was one of 4 of the main guys to build the current Mervin/Lib Tech factory and get it off the ground. He left that to go back to school and got a job in SoCal and built a factory for what is now Signal Snowboards. Then he met his now business partner and went along with him. For me it was either, help out at the shop (I had experience part time at Signal), or ship out. Neither of us took a paycheck for maybe 3 months (not that we had savings either). It turns out I'm pretty good at the job so now I'm growing with the company. 50-70 hours a week, 4 years later and the 6 of us can double the companies size every year apparently...

I actually don't ride, but I've been. I've always preferred BMX, mainly due to accessibility growing up.
