No, the spawnfrags people hope to get for years and he gets every minute.

On dm20, I've literally been waiting years for someone to spawn near the PG after I kill him around GL and it hasn't happened once.

Seriously... You think there is a cheat for forcing people to spawn in front of you?:D He really is the master of spawnfrags, and mapknowledge. He put the time in those maps (mb the most in the scene) and he started with QL, so he was never used to the old spawnsystem, and he is a prodigy in this game anyway. I'm not saying he is legit, I doubt that he is cheating, but you never know until one shows up and perform on LAN. Hope he'll get the chance and live with it once.

About the movie:

+ Loved the textures
+ Really nice atmosphere with the musics, syncing and everything, really well done.

- the visibility of names, and imho it would've been better if it's only about fearzzz, I didn't even see others, only tybalt once on Arcane.

And its not negative, but the movie had a very similar look & mood to Dorftrottel, which is mb the best fragmovie of all time, so I glad it happened, but I surely can't mention it as an original movie.

Kind of seemed to lose it's way after about 35% in, and then the music suddenly got pretty generic. Some of the slowmo's seemed to serve no purpose at all.

Some sweet frags though, editing, production, and the textures were absolutely incredible. I've given it an 8 for that, so overall still great and definitely worth watching.

I don't know. as wntt mentioned he had to force himself to finish this and to me it kinda feels that way. lacks pacing (I'd put the ridiculous dm20 run at the end or something and without ddk's commentary as he sounded like he was about to fall into a coma any second now), some textures work, some less so and the music is all over the place making the movie feel disjointed to me, overall it's a solid movie with great content, but moopoint set my expectations very high and this doesn't live up to them:)

Not a fan of the music and pacing. Almost impossible to see who the player was on youtube.

Really enjoyed it, and wish we could have such textures in QL!

If I'm not mistaken some of the textures are from the map Focal Point which means they are in fact in QL!
Just needs someone to make a map reusing those textures.. :)

Dreadful place in this video is retextured with the use of the focal point texture set.

And Hiddenfortress is textured with a stock quake live plaster texture given new colors or possibly cityys plaster textures from fluorescent and a concrete floor texture from fluorescent on the rocks. I must admit that the way hidden fortress looked gave me a hardon (but the same can be said for dreadful, limbus, arcane, ztn and purgatory)

There were some beautful subtle syncs. The quad plasma jump on ztn, or that BS jumpad galore. Very very sterile, and the retextures were awesome. That is an idea for other FPS arenas or QL even, maybe purchasable map skins. inb4 picmip and so on, not every does that.

I put it in Fraggie his former channel in the topic, while watching, because well, pretty much he looked up to all players in this video. Seeing a moment of fame for Fraggie in this at the end totally blew my mind. He would have never expected this. Thanks!

The map texturing is so incredibly cool that would be an amazing vision for Quake in the future in my opinion. It gave the movie an almost street like gang atmosphere which was so fresh and exciting even on old maps. Huge props to the Aerowalk textures it looked like an abandon castle which I really liked too. The Japanese style theme on Dreadful Place was fitting to the actual design of the map. Your talent for movie making is great but the texture design is what really put this movie over the top.

Props to wntt and the time it took you to make this movie.

love the retexturing you did, specially dm20 and dreadful ones. on the other hand, music was kinda stale, a bit too melancholic for my taste, definitely bored down the movie for me. also, could barely read the text/player names. frags were nice, some more than the others.

Best QL movie I've ever seen.

more detail on the map retextures could have been used. this movie is obviously inspired by dorftrottel which is a good thing (since dorftrottel is an absolutely insane frag movie) so when i was watching it it felt like a dorftrottel skeleton with the comparatively plain textures.

still an easy 10 though.
