Yes it sucks because it's like 5 mm thick and way too soft. I have an Asus echelon witch is more slick etc. with comparable surface (feels better imo) Unfortunately it's somewhat shiny and a few sensors doesn't like that.

don't get the G-TF it's a really scratchy plastic with a rough texture and it causes tracking errors.

Yeah I thought the cloth/plastic hybrid shit was just marketing but it's not. It's a tough plastic thats woven, I wouldn't even consider it synthetic cloth. It's really just a plastic pad thats a little more flexible.

Out of these cloth pads on the list I've owned a Logitech G240 and QCK myself.
I've heard the CM pads have tracking issues.
I've never used a QPAD before.

Looks like the Puretrak Stealth and Razer Goliathus Speed are considered medium speed according to that.

But I had Qpad CT and I hate it, because it's some kind of hybrd not cloth.

Now I got QcK+ and imo it sucks. Got Goliathus before.

I think that my next one will be cheapest one from A4 tech, seems to be better than QCK.

Yeah Puretrak and Goliathus are medium. And they said Puretrak Stealth but they also said it's same material as Talent.

I think the talent is faster at first, but it got pretty unusable for me after a short while, getting too inconsistent, developing spots where my movements got slowed down or almost stuck. some people love it, but I'm back to the goliathus speed personally. I got the newest generation one, it's thinner than the old ones and the surface seems to be a little different. it doesn't have that coating that always wears out and disappears quickly. I like it, it still feels like new after a few months of use.
and actually people say the control is faster than the speed, more "holes" = less friction, although I have not tried it. however a common complaint with the control is that dust and dirt gets stuck in it

The control feels a lot faster than the speed imo. I use the speed at work and control at home. The holes really mean less friction and thus a faster and smoother experience imo. It looks okay after about a year+ of use.

The talent I'm using is faster than my goliathus speed, but the golithus i have is like 5 years old and worn out.

I have the puretrak talent and Goliathus control. The pads aren't really comparable. They both have a very different weave. The control has a very noticable texture that feels raw and gives less static friction, making smaller mouse movements more controllable. Since I'm playing mid-to-high sens, this is the pad of choosing for me. I gave away my talent to a friend, and regularly play at his house with it. It is a very good pad, but it doesn't really suit me. I can't really get my rockets spot on because the pad doesn't allow my mouse to stop where I wanted to.

The control has less static friction, but makes my mouse stop at the moment I want it to because of the certain weave it has, you have the idea the mouse feels controllable at every hand/wristspeed you're moving on it. The Puretraks initial feel is very smooth and gets even more smoother the faster you move your hands/wrist on it. I'm certain I'd hit as good on the Talent as on the control but it would take me a lot of time getting used to it. (don't laugh) At that moment I was playing competitive CA (don't laugh) so I did not feel like swapping, but nowadays would prefer it over my goliathus since I don't really play quake anymore and the Talent feels as comfortable as silk. It's also way thicker and has better build quality. As far as I know the Talents last a lifetime and are machine washable.

Can't go wrong with any of the pads, I'd say get a talent or speed if your sens is on the lower end of the spectrum and a control if its on the middle or higher end of the spectrum. You'll get used to any of them and probably end up hitting the same percentages in the long run. But if it's comfort and durability you're after, get a Talent, the controls' feel is a bit harsh on the soft hands and might feel a bit sandpaperish.

You said the pad doesn't allow your mouse to stop where you wanted to, but shouldn't then use different sens for this pad to match your sens on the Control?

Did you try the QcK Heavy? If yes, thoughts?

In all honesty I never change config or sens so I rather use something that matches my settings. So in my situation the control gives me most confidence. I could get used to the Puretrak but it would probably take weeks to get on par with how I fair with the Control.

I used the QcK+ and heavy. Liked them both, even when worned out. The heavy was my pad of preference when I used my mx518, but then it broke and I swapped it for the G400 (big feet). At this time I stopped using accel and low sens and went with mid to high and felt that the QcK had a tad too much static friction for my taste. I was able to hit great rockets and rails but the LG was hard with all the stickiness. Also keep in mind that the thick/squishiness of the heavy made me push the mouse in the pad which made tracking and LGing annoying and jittery. Thats when I ordered the thinner version QcK+ thinking the LG problem would get solved. But the difference between the two pads is like night and day. The latter pad being that thin madenit way more smoother and harder to control. Keep in mind this was caused by the big feet under the G400 and not the texture of the QcK. All this crap annoyed me and I couldnt get used to the sheer amount of lack of friction. THats when I ordered the talent and Goliathus and decided to stay with the control. Had the mostnconsistent aim with it, great for close-to-midrange LGing, rails are alright, rockets a-ok so I took peace with this. It's hard to have best of all worlds when it comes to pad and mice. In the end it takes a lot of trying out and getting usedt. So I just recommend everyone to get something that gives you a good feeling comfort and sizewise. If you feel your aim is off or whatever, don't blame it on your settings or gear, it's probably just you.

Get used to something and quit obsessing over settings and configs. Consistency and confidence is the key of great aim!
