I am kinda afraid of Google taking over many sites and services. They have tendency to force solutions regardless of user input, like YT comments, G+ integration etc.

Well not only that, but their content id system is fuckballs retarded. People are posting full albums and movies on there all the time. Someone uploads a 2 min gaming highlight vid with a song and holy shit, that dude is infringing on intellectual property rights! It works about as good as the anticheat in qlive.

But just like Valve, people just keep accepting anything these companies do no matter what the consequences might be down the line.
