The shot is done while blind, shoots the first guy, goes thru the wall on the left and shoots a guy just behind the crate on the right out of CT spawn in the head. I thought the video was proof, then a story no one would believe me.

No offense but thats easy. He knew where one guy was, he waited for hud_centerid to show up with his name(which it does in the movie) then took a shot, the fact that it hit another guy also is total luck. That is certainly not cheating or something.....

I'll give u an example.

It was me as a T and my friend as a CT on militia, a couple of rounds has passed so i had enough money to buy an awp for myself. I bought it and went to the window looking into the militia courtyard and crounched and unzoomed shot through the glass. Then i got into sniping postition waiting for him. Then i feel his hand slap me across the head.
'Fuck man, whats ur problem', i said..
then he goes "you fag, stop cheating you bitch" i was like wtf did i do, apparently when i shot through the glass so that i could see him more clearly, the bullet went from my start point and through the wall and into the tunnel that the CT's go through to get to the courtyard and hit him. So yeah thats my bullshit shot experience...

I don't understand why people play CS:... every movie I Download, it seems so extremely boring - I know all quakers use the cliché about cs'ers just camping behind a box with their x-hairs waiting, but where most clichés are just exaggurations of the truth, this one apparently holds.

"arcadeish gameplay" doesn't necessarily mean "better and more exiting" gameplay. different people prefer different games.

In cs, everyone is the bad ass pro-gamer who rather reloads his m4 while running backwards from the quaker, who actually thought computer games are about fun and pulled out his knife when he noticed his opponent is out of ammo.
This describes the mentality of cs'ers very well.
When I play CS(approximately one time a month, with a pal), we always do some knife kills, which is very satisfying. Why? Because 99% of cs players out there think first of an easy frag. Same thing with chatting or afk.

In Quake3, for most players i meet on public servers it's reflex to put gauntlet out if the other does.
The few UTers i know are saying the same. They don't see the point in shooting someone who's actually not fighting.

well if you took the time to get to know people on a decent server than they would realise that you are trying to have fun rather than being a twat trying to knife them to embarrass them.

as for q3 i play alot of clan arena among other game types and the amount of times i have played on servers i dont know well, and with only me and another guy left i say "pummel" to him and wait in the middle of dm6 for a gauntlet fight only to be blown the shit out of by a flurry of rockets.

it has got nothing to do with what game the person plays but only what sort of a person they are. and your desciption that csers have some how got a differnet mentality to q3ers in frankly laughable.

Yes, because you know most cs players are actually idiot enough to dislike a person because of something that happened to them in the game, and who are even able to be embarressed about something that happens in a computer game.

And yes, i'm talking about public servers. I realize that there is a difference between competitive play and ffa servers, but cs players seem to play same style. trying to kill everything in the same boring way(no knifing, none other weapon than m4 with silencer), hiding and arguing with "i am ct i am supposed to sit in this corner the entire round n00b" and typing "lol luck lol" evrytmie they get killed. the majority of cs gamers is like that, at least from what i experienced(and i played in a cs clan a year ago, in leagues etc).
Clan Arena is another story of q3, full of retards just like ra3. I was talking about duel and tdm public servers, most ppl you meet there are nice.

The shot IS NOT that amazing. He saw the name and shot, the other bugger was just unlucky and the guy on the other side of the map... bad mapping? It's not like the person was TRYING to hit him... Luck.

In CS, players dont care if they're forced to use skill or not... they just want to get frags..... whats the challenge in awping people who are running with guns that take 10+ shots to kill @ a distance? Challenge doesnt matter to most cs players... i only play cs at times with the worst guns... to piss off ppl ike this video's creator (he would have been flanked with mac10 if I was on the other team).

this is because most 'competitive' cs players are under the illusion that there is honor/status/fame/respect to be found in CS, and that the CPL is as 'big' as the NBA or NHL....

its no suprise that they cant understand a q3'rs perspectice -- Q3 is 10% strats 90% aim/movement, CS (at high levels) is 50% luck, 40% strats, 10% aim.... so why should any real gamer even care?

The only thing I can say to the angry quakers out there is: The only REAL camper i personally know, who, when playing cs, is left at the end in EVERY single round, sitting in a corner with 7 hp, madspraying at everything that moves (and when getting killed is calling everybody n00bs) is a quaker, who thinks cs i boring cuz everybody camps and whines. And after playing pub on the i-net i´ve discovered that he is not exactly the only one.
