I have loads of problem connecting to quake. At first when I start quake it can't even connect to the quake network, it asks me to check my firewall settings and gives me the option to either continue trying, cancel or contact QL support. As soon as I click on the support link I can connect to quake, it happens in the background as I'm being sent to firefox, but then comes the other problem: I can't connect to a server, it just counts the attempts until I get bored and press esc.

So I've tried to reinstall quake, but all that happened was that I lost all my friends in the chat list, I know they haven't been deleted, but I can't see nor chat with them. I tried to contact QL support through the link that was given when I couldn't connect, but apparently I cant send in my question because I don't get a code to confirm that I'm a human.

Am I the only one with this problem? Does anyone have any idea what I should do about it? Or is this a sign that I should go out and enjoy the weather instead? Gaah, haaaaaalp!
