Been trying to get into promode. Have been playing QL since beta. Played Q2,Q3 but never really got into promode when it was big. Been playing lots of cpma bots though lately to try and learn the maps. I'm mainly interested in tournament mode.

I'd like to see if anyone would like to run some maps with me. I don't need many tips on movement/items/timing. Just interested in learning some map routes. Would like to be able to play "follow the leader" i guess. Lemme know.

Thanks, I've been lurking at the uscpmpickups channel (im in cali). Not a-lot of server ips flying around, so i mainly just wait for an opportunity to throw my .02 in. Was able to troll my way onto a server with hanslolo and another player (cant remember his name but they were both awesome). My ass was removed and handed back to me most rapidly. Fun stuff!

You should join #uscpmpickup (for US) (and #cpmpickup for EU) on the QuakeNet IRC network and use the !alias and !aliases commands to get a list of server aliases. You can then use !q3 alias (or !ip alias, not sure anymore atm!) to query a server's IP and see who's on the server.

Also, #uscpmpickup has !mumble and #cpmpickup has !ts in case you want to chat with us on Mumble or TeamSpeak.

I'll gladly walk you through the maps and explain some stuff you need to know. /query myT on QuakeNet
