SORRY MATE, I wasn't in on it honest.

first stalker was very good, didnt play second, but played a little call of pripyat, which i somehow never caught me since it just threw you in the world, and you had to figure everything out for yourself and that got boring quick.

if they can capture the right amount of story and freedom ala shadow of chernobyl, im onboard for some STALKER I mean Area.

You receive tokens based on when you applied, I now have 3 tokens.
Here's a quick snippet from the website about getting into beta:

If you check the forums you'll see that getting in there is pretty damn hard

edit: to answer your question - I've only seen some vids and images from game so can't really say if the wait will be worth it, but so far it looks promising

Yeah I signed up quite a while ago, had 10 tickets on my account but I know a few friends with similiar who are still waiting. Seems to be a little difficult or lucky to get an invite. I guess they'll open up more as it goes on.

Just wondered if anyone was playing because I think it would be more fun playing with others. :)

I think it will be really fun when it's finished. I'm having fun atm but there isn't a lot of content, I wanna see how the final game looks before I decide either way. I can imagine it being really good though.
