I love PoE. The level system is awesome. Yes it sucks if you screw up your build but you can respec quite easily.

I've been putting off Dominus in cruel, waiting for my friends to reach the same level as I am, they've been dieing before they reached Dominus cruel. Last death of a friend was at level 54, "stand back then you should be ok" -> dead 5 seconds later being pinned in a corner by a rogue exile.

i played diablo3 when it was released and its a piece of shit and killed my diablo 1 + 2 childhood memory. its just flashy japanese manga standartcrap with angels and demons everywhere and a stupid storyline that makes you rush through and skip dialogues because its so dumb (i dont even remember the name of that thing anymore that kidnapped deckard cain).
act1 was fine themewise, after that everything went downhill (and act3 & act4 are extremly uninspiring) i hear the new act 5 is better again but i wont buy it until its almost for free due to pure hate towards blizzard.

the biggest 2 jokes tho are
- 1) even tho its an rpg, you dont build up a character. you can switch your skills at any time and nothing is unique or permanent. theres no tinkering or brain involved AT ALL. the game doesnt stop you at any point with a "put more thought into your character" skillwall
- 2) the ingame auction house killed the game. it literally took away the very core mechanic that makes you play such a game. and people knew that and bitched about it since the very start - still blizzard didnt care because it meant $ for them. and now the fun part: just like in south korea before blizzard got into a us lawsuit on 19. march 2012 that led to a sanction to remove the rmah from the game within 1 year. in early 2013 blizzard announced that they came to the conclusion that the rmah is bad for the game and they would close it on 18. march 2013 to please the fans. personally this company can suck my ****

get Path of Exile. its the far better action rpg when it comes to mechanics and character developement and the loot system is waaaaaaay superiour.

Diablo 1 & 2 were the same (-manga part) - we were younger and now we are sentimental.

Similar criticism aplies to most "cult" games from my childhood. Especially to storylines - most of them are just silly naive or in the "B movies" category. And I definitely can still appreciate good literature/movies/games for kids and youth.

the stories were bad, but the execution was way way better. diablo 3 is so much more in-your-face terrible

was wiz only once but switched to witch doctor... Wizard just gets outclassed atm. Still a fun game to play, even if lave is right. Game was not finished at release, at least they improved a lot with patches.

Yeah got very lucky on that one. Will reroll the socket to 10% DMG in 2.1, then add socket via the new item that is coming.

Still, I find this item somewhat underwhelming. But maybe its just my dogs blocking fetishes from doing damage all the time. :D

I have the game but hardly play. First game i played online was Diablo 1 when it came out, and had alot of fun with diablo 2 aswell.

Btw i don't think the game is THAT bad, it just had alot more potential. But remember when diablo 2 came out it was not that awesome aswell (even tho it was better than diablo3), and it eventually became alot better with the expansion and patches.. until it reached his prime.

So that might happen to diablo 3 aswell to a certain extent.. i hope it does anyways.

No, not really. You can't dupe in d3 AFAIK, also you can't use items of shady eBay auctions since all good items are bind on account

multiboxing is tolerated by blizzard as they alreay stated. While this is totlay cheating they are totaly fine with it, because player has to buy 4 copy of the game to do so.
