this happens a lot with streamers, I've seen this multiple times before. someone calls a bomb threat or reports dead bodies and they get stormed by police

kind of ridiculous that the police can't enter your home without permission, yet some random can call the police and lie and they can storm in.

It would be enough from the police to ask the caller generalities.

Anyone participating in this ridiculous fad should have two options -- prison or asylum, preferably prison. Scum.

If I am right it costs the county a helluva lot for each single swatting that is reported and acted out. If they're able to trace whoever rang them up they would indefinitely be fined large amounts of $$$$$$, no doubt perhaps even serve jail time.
