Nope, shadowmaster was some bloke who showed p0rt-like symptoms (still thinking anyone cares about q4, posting q4 vids), Sanchez was more like the CMSS/serious hybrid, mentally challenged but also played some on a somewhat decent level.

shadowmaster just changed his name because he lost to ani (esr member) who was inactive at this time....
so a few days later he switched name, started cheating and spread his success with cheats.

soo he had to change his name again.... to eklipse and start spreading his crap again but he lost to whipslash (althought wh + aimbot) and here we go again

1. Eklipse is probably not Sanchez.

2. Sanchez lost to Whiplash (11 - 15) while using wallhack only, no aimbot (how can u win vs someone with aimbot + wallhack ffs)

aimbot + wh != skill

mapknowledge, timing, dodgepattern and many more makes skill

since he used cheats he never get better but stayed overconfident just because he outaims everyone.

Its like toxjq vs rapha. Rapha wont ever go for a lg vs lg fight with equal hp/armor. Rapha outplays his opponents (mostly by timing & positioning)

I do recall Sanchez saying that he will beat any guy with aimbot + wallhack in quake 4.

Sanchez even said that if people used cheats it would be more interesting for him to destroy them.

I always wanted to see a Q4 invitational cup, with good prizes too so the 'mercenaries' show up, plus newer players like shadowmaster, GOD OF WAR sanchez and "nike" I think was the other guy.

If several hundreds of dollars would work, we would have done it. The problem is that for that much we can't be sure even oldschool players could come back, as they may be scared to tarnish their legacy. And, more importantly, the trolls (like shadowmaster) just would not show up.

Fatal1ty was a stealth monster, if he was dominating the situation, it was easy for him, but if he wasn't then he would disappear, until he could get back control. Clever tactics though, however boring as a spectator at that time, but most of these were top end games where crucial decisions mattered. I remember seeing a very boring one on phrantic, but that wasn't the over all case, he was v stronk.

I remember playing with someone named Sanchez on Californian Server. The guy had 220 ping, but he won everyone. His rocket skill was insane, and his lightning reflexes were spectacular to watch.

I know, but this guy different. He just came in into full server and obliterated everyone. This was pure insanity, I never seen such ridiculous aim on the server from any american player, but this guy came with 220 ping. It is like ping is nothing for him, he was predicting every single move of an enemy.
