- too many frags on noobs during the CTF scenes
- rockets and rocket explosions looked very comic-like
- some of the shoutcasting bits. Especially the ~2 ones were ddk sounded underwhelmed by what is happening.
-- pointless cooller intro. I found it in no way interesting that cooller once called dem0n "good" but that he lacks focus on "timing and positioning". That's not even a very flattering thing to say and doesn't belong in a movie dedicated to dem0n.
-- lack of atmosphere and distinguishing style (visually and musically)
--- That single rail shot on aerowalk at 3:15-3:18 is not only unbelievably common and boring. It also belongs to the frags that are most heavily synched to the music. What the hell?

Overall 4/10.

as expected from a zeroql movie, overedited, emphasis on effects not on frags, a lot of fillers, would be 6/10 if not for some personal reasons that sank it to a pure 0/10.

i like dem0n, but i don't particularly like this movie...

intro is bad in so many ways, too long and it feels more like the outro (that ffa ownage with 2GD and Joe comentating would be so much better as outro)
of all the great frags, you highlight the one on 6:08 where he misses the direct air rocket (from faceit winter finale i think)
some really unnecessary castings that add nothing.really and v/o's
that rocket fx is terrible, i really dislike the overuse of particle effects, simpler is always better and cleaner
music is in some parts way too quiet

etc...

@zeroql, why are all your movies starting to look so similar, what happened to your originality from q3 and from unagi and fox' movie?

i know you can do better movies, don't get generic

usually i'd give a movie like this 5 or 6, but i'll give it a 7 just cause it's dem0n first movie and not a sequel again, and considering it's only 900mb for 1080p60

Usual great editing skills but several "meh" actions and those too persistent explosions ruined it a bit imo.

In the end if it would be very good from a "nobody", it is kinda disappointing for a ZeroQL production.

Yeah, well you have got to give the guy some credit though. He gets bashed a lot because he is ZeroQL, yet still comes around and gives us demos/fragmovies/links etc.

i really loved this movie, definitely one of my favorites, amazing job!!

I enjoyed it, particularly the duel content, not so much with regards to the ctf content.

However, the main annoyance (which grew throughout the film) was the rocket explosion. It blocked some of the awesome rail shots, and the colour of the rocket model in contrast to the explosion was irritating also.

Other than that, the rest is nit-picking; a competently produced piece that I enjoyed, and that Demon is deserving of :-)

I prefer white enemy models, my brain has decided to turn itself off more than usual tonight, so that's all I wrote.

That is the biggest flaw in this movie imo. I think you should put there live commentary or no commentary at all, ddk is great but he just can't fakecast, you can hear what was recorded and what not. Same thing was in one of faceit movies, when Pavel railed Guard in literally last fraction of second on bloodrun.

But still 8/10 from me. I like that there are ctf frags, runs, some badass ffa action + I recognized few frags (airrocket on Cypher on dm6, rails on tox at dreamhack '13, airrockets on t7). Good stuff.
