The rollower should fit most gamer's nee, but the feel of the keys is horrible.

I also have a Logitech Deluxe 250 keyboard, IMO it's much better.

The keys are like in laptops, pretty comfy.
It had fucked "a" key. Getting stucked because it's not aligned well but quaking fixed the shit out of it.
The big size is okay.
Doesn't have media buttons or other bullshit.

Shit man there's somany of these kbs that you could spend weeks sorting thru just one lineup.

Simple thing: if it feels okay, it's yours. ALWAYS see the kb in person before buying on the net. Touch, play, see if you feel good. Kinda like woman but with much broader input options.

So what exactly is the advantage of mechanical keyboards over the other except ghosting (which I guess doesn't affect me, because I had to press four keys or more at the same time)? I use the same Logitech Keyboard for 13 years now.

The sad wiring that causes some key combinations to not work is the real deal here.
So please check known issues with certain key combinations not working while considering a keyboard, so you won't be disappointed.

Apple Compact Wired Keyboard A1242. They don't make this anymore, so check eBay and check if they made a version specifically for your region / language. There is also a slightly larger model that is still manufactured, A1243, you might find this to your liking. Again, eBay it.

Personally I find standard mechanical keyboards / switches very overrated, you can try them all (as I have) via 'keyboard/keyswitch' tours on Deskthority or Geekhack and see for yourself. Did like Topre over all the Cherry's, but, I prefer scissor switches the best.

Btw the keys on this Apple KB don't wear at all. They are made differently from other normal ABS / PBT keycaps or knockoff keyboards.

anyone making buckling spring other than unicomp anymore?

I've got IBM M but I gave it for somebody to enjoy for 6 months while I've been on this Dell SK-8115. To be honest I really like it. I just can't stand low profile keys. I like something with momentum. Can anyone recommend me some fresh rubber that I can try out? I find rubber dome keys are actually quiet nice when new but eventually the rubber gets saggy. It seems all manufactures have gone to this low profile fiasco and I can't find any standard normal keyboard. I should ask for my IBM M back really.
