It works and the notification system sounds cool. But you need to donate at least $5 for it? :/ How does it work anyway? Do you have your own server running that checks if a player is playing?

For the notifications, yes.Without donating you can only check servers and profiles.

Only for the feature that notifies you when certain players are playing, I guess. I didn't donate (yet?) so I don't know how that works.

The program has potential, though now it's more a beta.

On first run - DETAILS and PLAYER tab show just white space, could be some info - select a server/player first

SERVERS tab:
- scrolling doesn't work
- location shown is USA:Chicago, when the server is in DEU - Frankfurt
- some maps don't have an image
- and still I'd prefer just a list without map thumbnails

- DETAILS - no info if the server is ranked or not

scrolling should work. What is your decice/android version?

Server details will show whenever you click on a server.. first time use as you've never done that, it will be blank

different location after click? maybe you haven't actually clicked on the item list? cuz it keeps track of your latest query item for details and if you just click on details or swipe there it will show the old server details.

i've got thumbnails from qlive wiki and some new maps arent there ive menaged to add some, but still couldnt find thumbs for some of them

It's android 4.1.2 - scrolling works on other tabs, but on "servers" it's bugged (it sometimes works when trying to scroll with a few fingers at once :)
I set the filters to show CTF servers in Europe. Real server location is DEU:Frankfurt, but it shows USA:Chicago.

mi, you're right about that ! Chicago and Frankfurt are both with the same ID on my array (must have misplaced) will Soon update a fix for that.

As for servers tab problem, i was able to simulate it on a 4.1.2 android tablet here.. Indeed it's kinda messy, can't really figure out why ( works on old, 2.3 android and 4.4 android, but not on 4.1.2 ) i will look into these issues ASAP :)

I don't like / want to mess this thing by putting ads.. Notification feature was intended to go as a plus for whoever wants to encourage this project.. I'm willing to keep improving it and adding more features.. Also would like to be able to put up some iOS version as well.. unfortunately Apple is a bitch and charge a lot for developers, even if you're not focusing on making money out of it.

New version is up on Google Play. Some bugs were fixed and the big news is that Notifications are now avaliable for everyone. Also Paypal was added on app as a new option for anyone that found this app useful and is interested in keeping it alive by donation any value of your choice.

I'm not really sure how the Notifications work exactly, for me it just says that xx_number of matches are about to start (all of the matches from my server filter parameters i guess, not really related to what i put in "Look for players" list) It sends me to the list of the games https://www.dropbox.com/s/27ve4tpul60vvfv/201....35.31.png

I would rather like to see if any of my friends are about to start a game (friends or just other player that i want to be notifed when they're on servers)

Also it would be nice if we could log into our QL accounts and spawn a server for our friends when they just sms'ed me asking if im online to make them one :D Not sure if that's even possible but just sayin... :)

I intend to improve and make Notifications more customizable, but as for now it works like this:

- Friends : Notification's will use your Search Settings filters, so If you're filtering for Duel on Frankfurt, it will only look for your friends that are on these servers.

I mainly filter for location, so anyone from my country (where my friends and I play 90% of the time) so chances are really high it will capture whenever a friend is playing. Sure you can also put region such as "North America, Europe, South America.. etc".

- Matches : will get any on going or prewar match from your default Search Settings filter. It can get a bit messy, and I intend to make that more customizable in the future, as for now, you can always say that you're only interested on being notified about Duel's , TDM, CA.. etc. So only your fave gametype will be popping up, or if you're the kind that's obsessed with a cartain map (like campgrounds lovers) you can always set it as your favourite, and leave gametype at ANY, so ALL matches on campgrounds will show on notification.

Some could benefit from combining both favourites, if you really love to play duel's at a certain map.. eg : aerowalk/duel so only these notification's would show.

Cheers for the update man :) looks good. How is the battery usage if you have notifications turned on btw. Can be pretty useful when I am at my pc and I can just wait for a notification to join a match :)
