why would you show something like this: highly boring, shit copy of quake, nothing new, everything which isn't copied from quake, like gfx are worse - it's the least thing the world let alone the DM-genre needs.

Well, I would have given a shit, if the player in the video did not just stand the first fucking minute there doing nothing looking at items, from which we don't know what they do. No commentary nothing, no new concepts except the jetpack-rip-off, which is also old. Just a cube and some bots, horrible sound, horrible graphics. I would have cared about, if they would not have made me watch a video from a guy standing around looking at boring textures and, basically forcing me to make a sense out of the ui and those items at which the player is looking...man, just why? Edit: I forgot the horrible sound.

alpha version is not gonna have new content. replacing all xonotic content is gonna be main goal prior to beta. purpose of alpha is to provide playable version for testing and adjusting gameplay

it has xonotic and warsow models and sounds while its in alpha. the dev is gonna be replacing them later on apparently.

just to clarify a litle bit - warxon does not have anything from warsow since warsow content is not free but proprietary. So most of content is from xonotic/nexuis_classic which fits warxon, some single assets are from other games . Everything else is made by me like all powerup models, all health bubble models, all projectile models, some textures, hud related icons, some sounds and so on

yes, default UI layout is similar to warsow one, it is fully customizable though.
basically alpha is ready, I just need a bit more testing

looks pretty nice actually. Sad people wont play those games cause the title doesnt say Quake - but hopefully the changes become true for quake and itll be dead in a day or two....and off to new games :D.
