You know, that idea might not be that bad in QL as well...the biggest lol here is probably when several other dudes fire their rockets along with you and it all becomes intermingled in the air into one big rocket festival.

Also it would be funny to see playermodels standing still and wiggling their weapons back and forth while their players try to aim these pesky rokets. Why standing? I find it hard to aim this Stinger missile shit while strafejumping or air time.

BUT this is funny, I dl/d this mod and played with it in vq3 using bots. Bots being bots it was all fun and games, but I think it might be hard to play against live opponents.

Would be fun to see this in QL as a devpick, for troll value if nothing else.

Did you try the trip-mines yet? I think they're fun. Especially in CTF.

The guided missiles work just as well while strafe jumping.

Ha, I might not be used to aiming these pesky rockets during movement. Maybe it's a matter of changing old movement habits.
Yeah tripmines are fun, allow for really nasty combinations.

That would be nice. How do I go about doing that? I also lost half of the source code. I only have the code for the trip-mines.

Well, talk to Sync or sponge on IRC. Or try to get hold of them using QL support.
I'm no programmer but I think they can still reverse-engineer the code so no big deal.

There was a devpick with guided rockets and some other weird weapon changes some years ago.

Yeah that's strange. Mine are just regular guided missiles where you have to achieve missile lock. You get a tone and then fire. So you actually have to aim. Additionally, it has trip-mines.

I talked to sponge and he said they don't implement third party mods.
