i think those in focus arent allowed to talk about upcoming changes, which could explain their absence in the thread =PPP anyway, im only saying that because its too ridiculous to be taken seriously D:
I had a feeling, but after being a focus tester for years, the way the post was written was pretty spot on. With a fake there's going to be inconsistencies of some sort, this post had the same language and flow a the other focus post.
"It runs on CPMA with the ioquake3 client for very fast downloads and improved netcode. Worth taking for a spin, had some fun games on Arctica / Devilish there."

Check the thread I posted above for more info, but as far as I know it's kinda deadish
it is dead.... but it's an option if QL turns out to be shit.
It's set up similar to QL (the webpage) so slightly familiar
Just have to download stuff and install... which is a pain compared to QL.... it really isn't that much of a pain.
Just a thought, if people had problems setting up their QL without encountering bugs and issues that prevented them from playing the game, good luck with some 3rd party website.
I remember fraglove being a hit or miss for most users when it came out, either it worked flawlessly or something wasn't installed properly.
Exactly, so are a lot of other people who have had problems running a simple plugin that enabled quake live to be played in browser. QL made it as simple as possible and yet people ran into problems.
it's still a better option than nothing if all else fails.
I'm just saying it's backup if no one likes the new ql...
we still have something familiar to play.
I'm not really thinking about noobs.
I'm thinking of the existing user base that will probably be unsatisfied with id's product.
it's more of a place for them.
You know that was my thought. Fraglove is where it would be at if QL goes full potat. I just wish they would have multiple games. As in QW and q2 also.
