Hopefully these are useful for someone :) You can also bind KP_INS (0 key), which I use to switch between CA, teamsize and duel voting.

All my taunts are on the KP_ARROW keys. The reason why I'm not looking for a bind is that I have pretty much taken up the rest of the keyboard with binds of some sort. At the moment I have F5 through F11 with map binds but I'm missing a couple of map votes more.

The aliases that could be auto completed was a nifty solution, which is why I am looking for a workaround to make it work again. None of all this is of the utmost importance, but it would satisfy my curiosity and perfectionism.

Then why is QL playerbase numbers in such bad shape? :D

Stop demonstrating your uselessness please. You obviously don't even understand the problem that is raised.

It is not just a matter of typing in the remaining "ster" to complete the word. It is also a matter of being able to auto complete with the tab button so it puts the / in front of the alias. It is also a matter of not having to type out "furiousheights" or the like. Furthermore it is a matter of settling my curiousness about the problem and making sure it wont annoy me in the future when making scripts.

If you are unqualified in adding anything constructive to the subject, then be quiet, let the grown ups talk and stop wasting bandwidth.

Same problem with troubled waters

I had an identical issue. After the standalone changed the functionality of "/quit" to actually exit the program instead of just disconnecting from the server, I created a "/qu" alias for "/disconnect" which was the best workaround for my habit of console>q>tab>enter.

This worked fine for a while, then suddenly one day it stopped working, even manually setting the alias again there and then didn't work either. It just refused to recognize the alias. I think this happened after a minor QL update. I asked for help somewhere and some friendly fellow explained what the problem was and how to resolve it, but I'll be buggered if I can remember who he was or what he said! It might have been rehepapp. It also might not have been rehepapp at all.

Yes! It was after some kinda update that the alias functionality was changed. I figure that there must be some kinda workaround, but I haven't been able to google anything useful.
