for some reason it didn't autocomplete for me until after I joined a practice game, annoying as ash wanted it and I didn't think it existed hope he found it before his 125fps games :/


seta cg_damagePlumColorStyle "2" // 1,2 or 3

1 damage colours that fade out to transparent,
2 damage colours (colour matches crosshairdamage),
3 it matches the weapon icon colours.

The three settings from the advanced game menu give :
seta cg_damagePlum "g mg sg gl rl lg rg pg bfg gh cg ng pl hmg"

or for just AoE (area of effect) it's set to "sg gl rl pg bfg"
or off:
clearcvar cg_damagePlum

obviously you can tailor it to be for any weapons you like editing the list.


"cg_damagePlum" doesn't autocomplete in the console at first either.

None of the guys in the 125fps cup seemed that bothered.

If anything it should make the game a little less +back as there is a tiny little less uncertainty about how much you did compared to hitbeeps.

Not now that they nerfed LG.

You assume it will not be less +back as they'll hide more as they can't rush+lg.

I'm hoping it will be less +back as rushing in with something else is less likely to get you LG'd.

Would be great to have a commnad to change the size of the plum text displaying the damage dealt. I play 1920x1080 and i can't see it very well. Also for PG all the text is blue because range 0-20 = blue so it would need some adjusting i think!

Overall great update excpet for loadout and dumbed down ammo pack!
