You might want to try deleting the last update if it wasn't happening before.

It seems to be coinciding with that, will see.

EDIT: Last one was (KB2975719), and it was "optional", so its going out :)

:) Seems that Ffleri had the right answer, as I removed the last 3 KB's that were installed from the 3rd of Sept, and everything has returned to normal again.

Sent an error report, and then rescanned windows update after uninstalling those 3, and there are no new updates.

So something must have not been quite right.

tbh windows update has done it again. Anyone know what the guidelines are for the maintenance? As I don't mind it doing it, but not during games.

maintenance shouldn't come up unless there's something wrong with your PC. anyways, you can turn it off.

I think there may be something wrong with my OC settings. I have just been checking and how wonderful it might be, but my processor seems to be at 5.38ghz.. with no cooling for that speed cannot be good.. I wonder if there is a way to clamp the OC to the desired OC in bios? anyone know about MSI bios? .. This might be the problem.

seems that I have found the answer with tweaking with the bios, and opening the case. RAM error.. All fine now since I set it correctly.Can't get the overclocking build quality off the shelves these days. I just trusted the settings were right, as they had been in the past from this company. trainee junior members setting up high spec pc's sucks. (updates are all fine installed)
