He was the most sheepish player who could aim and time alright that I've ever played or seen.

There were so many situations where you could have destroyed him tho.

easy way to retake control on any map. Just start talk to your enemy that he is cheating and other stuff. when he start answer to you kill him or take some mh/ra to retake control.

Either that or timeout the game unexpectedly to kill your opponent's momentum.

Work on your movement around the map. You hit walls too much which slows you down, and you aren't predicting his movements well enough. Instead of chasing, wait for him to come to you.

since i never really play duel myself i should rather keep my mouth shut, but imo in some situations you should have been more aggressive.
that situation where you catch him from behind with rockets at the red ... 100% kill!

besides that he seemed to be a very anxious fellow .. just trying to survive.

Dunno I just watched 5 minutes of it and have to say you don't really attack him either, you just play the positional+item game.

If both players play like that there's a possibility the game ends like that. In control you can try traps, baiting major or minor items, rj's, leaving up items while chasing.

Hitting 1 rail out of 5 doesn't help either. He'll take one of those 3294234 hp bubbles and a yellow and he's as stacked as before.

Didn't watch but this applies: you need to know when to be aggressive and when not so aggressive :l

He trolled with rocket launcher only. You didn't attack, and that's your only fault, but he didn't either, and could have.

If only he used the rail the match wouldn't have lasted that long.

In our second duel, I kill him once and hit a direct rocket in the first two minutes, and he ragequits. I think he actually believed duels were meant to be that slow. I felt the same way about the last minute though.

You can setup a trap by waiting on lower YA or RA. You leave item spawned and wait behind the corner. When enemy see free item it is hard to avoid temptation of taking it. Then you can pin him down and score.
