just log in the game, look for all game times, all populated server, all the world. 10 servers show up and every single one of them has 1 ppl in spect and that's it

I mean, what the fuck are they doing? SOMETHING is very wrong. This whole awaiting connection shit has been happening for multiple days, now. I've seen posts about it. In-game talking about it. And it happened a couple times, to me, last week. But, tonight? I could only join games about 1 out of 10 tries.

I'd be surprised if even 100 new steam users are still around in 3 months from now. So much bullshit and they won't put up with it. Especially since it's FTP. They invested nothing so they lose nothing by leaving.

It iz not first time down, QL isnt down, but try to play online , awaiting :) some year or 3/4 year QL gone offline in a minute - no announce made by id - for some hours... There was no way to start QL client, because the ql-launcher was only informing that QL is offline. Wasnt happy about this end. The question is if the 3 people worldwide were really present, or it was showing an old state... My experience was that sometimes servers behave like an restaurant closing hours. At some hours daily on QL, you was to could only play or leave, but not connect, so then... if you disconnected you were seeing only descending number of players on servers, and disappearing servers tho.

Are you guys having the same issue as I am? When I connect to a empty server it does not connect but waits for connection.

I have the money to pay quakelive so that doesnt makes much for me, sad part are all the newly attracted players leaving in flocks from these issues, an active playerbase is much more important for a subscriber than some days (cents).

Argentina server not working properly for like 5 days, talked to sponge on irc and he said the problem are "internet connections down there" or smtg like that. All the other gameservers on that provider are working ok. QL servers are up, if you do a /connect ip:port is might enter (when the awaiting issue isnt also happening). But noobs dont even know what is a console, and seasones players dont want to spend like 20 minutes seacrthing for different ports to find a suitable game. Create new match not available either, returns an error. Its like the quakelive masterserver or whatever its called is failing to communicate with it and/or viceversa.

Theyre killing the quake "down here" and also up there.
