I don't know about depth but Jaguars are very good swimmers and other cats swim too. My own cat learned to open doors(hell it even flipped the light switches sometimes) so I have no doubt a cat with at least twice the brain will manage to do so. My friend had a dog that would climb trees. I can't remember what it was, but it was similar to a beagle, but definitely mixed breed.

As far as I can tell besides the greyhound which has 45mph, most of the fastest dogs clock around 30mph. Right off the bat there are three types of cat faster than the fastest dog and even the slower of the big cats clock 30mph(like leopards and pumas). Hell ocelots get 38mph and leopard cats get 45mph.

Oh and I'm really impressed that one dog can aspire to the excellence of any cat...
